The opening hole is a par 4 which doglegs slightly from left to right. Here it is essential to place your tee shot in the left half of the fairway in order to provide yourself with the best angle from which to approach the green. The green itself, which is wide from left to right but shallow from front to back, has three levels which will test your ability to both read the green and to gauge the pace of the putting surface.
